One of our small classes
The club was established in 2010 to help seniors in Bookham and the surrounding area to learn how to use a computer. At the time there were many people over 50 in the area that had not had the chance to learn how to use personal computers. Since then a lot about computing has changed. Now we have computing power in tablets, phones and even watches! We still hold beginners classes when we have requests for them, but we have added many additional courses on topics such as staying safe on the internet, Windows 10/11, digital photography, social media and apps as well as courses on tablets and smartphones.
Our friendly and relaxed lessons are designed to help you learn computer skills to:
- enable you to communicate with friends and family with email, video links and social media
- use the internet to find information to enhance your hobbies and interests, save time and money
- use the internet to shop, tax the car or watch ‘on demand’ TV
- use programs or apps that let you do more with your computing devices such as photography, writing letters, keeping records, and much more.
